Bonnie J. Paskvan recently joined Calista Corporation, an Alaska regional native corporation, as its General Counsel. In that capacity, Bonnie is responsible for ensuring that the wide breadth of legal and compliance needs are met for Calista and its more than 35 subsidiaries and joint ventures. Prior to Calista, Bonnie served as Vice President and Senior Legal Counsel for The Alaska Wireless Network, LLC, and in-house Corporate Counsel for GCI and its subsidiaries forbore than a decade. Bonnie was an associate then shareholder at Hartig, Rhodes, Norman, Mahoney and Edwards, P.C., and previously an associate at Burr, Pease and Kurtz, P.C. and Riordan & McKinzie in Los Angeles, CA. Bonnie earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with distinction from Stanford University and her J.D. from Stanford Law School. During her three years at Stanford Law School, she served as associate editor for the Stanford Law Review. She serves as Co-Chair for the Alaska Bar Association’s Corporate Counsel Section, and also serves on the Board for the Anchorage Association of Women Lawyers. Ms. Paskvan is the 1981 Truman Scholar for Alaska.
