Randal Buckendorf
Randal Buckendorf has been in Alaska his entire legal career and in-house since 1997 when he started with ARCO Alaska. In his time with ARCO, Phillips Petroleum Company, Conoco Phillips and BP he has practiced in the areas of environmental and oil and gas, contracts and procurement, risk management and compliance, litigation, and regulated pipelines. For the past five years he has managed the legal team for BP in Alaska and from 2012 to 2014 also managed BP’s Canadian legal office in Calgary from here in Alaska. Randal is on the Boards of Directors of the Alaska Chapter of The Nature Conservancy and the Abbott-O-Rabbit Little League in south Anchorage. Married to a third generation Alaskan, Alaska is home, and he and his wife Valerie have two young sons ages 9 and 11. He loves to flyfish, drives a 4x4 Jeep Rubicon Wrangler and has a custom license plate that reads–WLDTRT (Wild Trout).
