Joan Wilson the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer for the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium, a consortium of tribal governments that operates the Alaska Native Medical Centerin cooperation with the South central Foundation and provides statewide services in areas of environmental safety and engineering, clinical research, and community health services. In this capacity, she reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and not to the General Counsel’s Office. Prior to joining ANTHC, she was Of Counsel at the law firm of Sonosky Chambers Sachse Miller & Munson LLP and at a prior point in her career in private practice also worked as an Associate at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP. Joan has also served as an Assistant Attorney General and Assistant District Attorney. Joan began her legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable H. Russel Holland, where she co-clerked with fellow presenter Pamela Keeler. She and her husband live in Anchorage and have one daughter, age 6. She is also the author of the forthcoming book, The Book of Timothy: A Sister’s Pursuit, with an expected release date in 2017.
